Sharon Gail Eades

Sharon Gail Smithhart Eades, 66, of Henderson was called Home on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at 7:05 PM at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. Sharon was born to the late Les and Martha (Womack) Smithhart in Henderson on October 13, 1947. She was a retired social worker and a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church in Henderson County. Sharon loved music, reading, keeping a thumb on current events and watching HGTV around the clock. Nothing brought her more joy than being around her many friends and family, especially her grandson. She was the sweetest and most kind woman imaginable and her glass was always half full! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Neil and her brother, Les Jr. “Addie”. Survivors include her husband of 44 years Jerry Eades; her children, Jodie Eades of Louisville and Joshua Eades of Knoxville, TN; brother, David Smithhart; sisters, Lisa Hope (Mike) and Mei Mei Eblen (Bret); sister-in-law, Donna Major (Tom); and her grandson,Ty Benjamin Eades. She also leaves behind a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel at 10:00 am. Bro. Bret Eblen will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM and Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Cherry Hill Baptist Church or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
