Sharon Lee Phillips

Sharon Lee Phillips, 86, of Cairo passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Facility under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born in Henderson, KY to the late Pearlie and Virginia Allen.

Sharon was a member of the Cairo Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Murt Phillips, and her brother, James Allen.

She is survived by her two children, Brian Keith Phillips (Tammy) of Cairo and Kim Palismo (Steve) of Southern California; brother, Larry Allen (Faye); sister, Terry Kappenman (Mike); grandchildren, Lindsay LaRue (Charles), Justin Palismo, and Ashley Montgomery (Dan); great grandson, Preston LaRue; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 23 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Michele Nally officiating.

Visitation will be 10:30 until service time, Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles LaRue, Dan Montgomery, Ralph Snider, Jarrod McGraw, Chris Nally, and Steve Palismo.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
