Sheila Lingerfelt

Sheila Lingerfelt, 59, of Henderson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born January 5, 1960 to Doris Ray “Jack” and Nancy (Holder) Burke of Owensboro, KY. Sheila was CEO, financial advisor, spiritual consultant and all-around best friend to her husband of 35 years, Bob Lingerfelt. She is survived by her husband, Bob LIngerfelt; her mother, Nancy Burke; four daughters, Shelly Bailey (Francis), Kristy Smith (Matt), Chasity Vidal (Joe) and Katrina Smith (Jarrett); two brothers, Keith Burke of Henderson and Scott Burke (Ina) of Marion, KY; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sheila’s body will be laid to rest next to her earthly daddy, Jack Burke, in Smith Mills Cemetery. Her spirit has progressed on to be with her heavenly father – The Great “I AM. Pastor Ernie “Deacon” Lingerfelt will officiate the celebration party of Sheila joining other family members who have gone on before her, such as John the Baptist, Peter, Paul, Mary and the superstar Himself, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday, February 23 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
