Sheila Skaggs

Sheila K. Skaggs, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 11, 2026, at St. Anthony's, Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Kentucky. Born on February 26, 1953, in East St. Louis, Missouri, Sheila was the daughter of the late Earl Mogg and Shirleen Miller. She dedicated much of her life to helping others, working in Social Services at Redbanks Nursing, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and kindness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Skaggs; sister, Cheryl Lawson, and her brother, Gary Mogg. Sheila is survived by her cherished daughter, Natasha Graham (Glenn); loving siblings, Karen Sherbert (Mike), Kathy Young, Brian Mogg (Michelle), Mary Cozart (Shane), Joanna Jackson (Ryan), and Terry Mogg (Anne); as well as her treasured grandson, David Graham, and two great-grandchildren, Brylee and Bryce Graham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Visitation will be 3:00 PM-7:00 PM, Friday, August 14 and 11:00 AM until service time Saturday, August 15 at the funeral home.
