Shirley Ann Boucherie

Shirley Ann (Williams) Boucherie, 81, of Hebbardsville, KY, passed away peacefully Friday, May 25, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Care Center of St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson, KY.She was born October 18, 1936 in Haw Creek Bottoms, Illinois to the late Dale and Helen Williams.  Shirley was a retired Rural Letter Carrier with the US Postal service, where she worked for 28 years.  She was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed working on the family genealogy, sewing and quilting, and traveling with Gus and their dog, Honey, in their beloved RV.In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her sister, Alice Musgrave.She Is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ellis (Gus) Boucherie; four sons, Johnny Boucherie and wife, Martha of Spottsville, KY, Gary Boucherie and wife, Nancy of Bluff City, KY, Mark Boucherie and wife, Jackie of Glascow,KY and Brad Boucherie and wife, Tina of Maurepas, LA; 8 grandchildren, Dedra Mayes and fiancée Cliff Griffin,Karen Landon and husband, George, Kristen Duckworth and husband, Andy, Djinni Boucherie, Brandy Boucherie, Cindy Hughes and husband, Chad, John Michael Boucherie and Kenneth Boucherie and wife, Renee; 16 great-grandchildren, Emma, Memphis and Christian Mayes, George, Mark and William Landon, Hadley and Hannah Duckworth, Anastasia and Gavin Boucherie, Olivia and Claira Bell, Violet Pullum, Conner Hughes, Natalie and Blake Boucherie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 12:00 pm at the Enfield Village Cemetery in Enfield, IL.
