Shirley Jean Edwards

Shirley Jean (Moore) Edwards, 89 of Henderson, KY passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at the home of her daughter, in the arms of her children in Sebree, KY under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Santa Maria, CA on March 10, 1932 to the late Samuel Alexander and Nettie Louise (Peterman) Moore. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Henderson. She was a retired nurse loved to crochet, read and watch movies. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her current and loyal caregivers Peggy, Nikki and Tracy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 63 years Billie Lou Edwards and a sister Sandy Daniels. Shirley is survived by 4 children; Terry Martin (Richard) of Cerulean, KY, Kim Campbell (Charlie) of Sebree, KY, Allen Edwards (Kerry) of Calais, ME, Kevin Edwards (Debbie) of Henderson, KY, sister, Loretta Ruth of Elkhorn, KY.  8 grandchildren; Jason Campbell, Ashley Braden, Mackenzie Henley, Alex Edwards, Jennifer Love, Valerie Guinn Jonathan Edwards and Cassidy Hyde. 9 Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
