Shirley Mae Profitt

Shirley Mae (Todd) Profitt, 78 of Henderson and formerly of Owensboro, KY passed away Thursday August 3, 2023 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace nursing home in Sebree, KY.

She was born in Webster County, KY on September 13, 1944 to the late Vernie Joseph and Edith (Phillips) Todd.

Shirley had attended Union Holiness Church in Henderson. She had been a Real Estate Agent and School bus driver of Daviess County. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family and reading her Bible every day.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Gene Profitt, 2 sisters; Judy Rose and Ruby Lutrell, 4 brothers; Tommy, Roy, Kenny and Bobby Todd.

Shirley is survived by; Two sons Kevin Profitt of Owensboro and Paul and Karen Profitt of Robards Ky. Special niece; Kathy Norrick of Evansville, IN Two Grandchildren Joshua and Jordan Profitt . Five Great Grandchildren Myles, Mattie, Morgan, Hazel and Harlow Profitt, 4 sisters; Beverly (Chris) Todd, Terry Chavez, Sherry (Mike) Neal, and Cathy Young all of Owensboro, 2 Brothers; Troy (Belinda) Todd of Calhoun, KY and Jim Todd of Livermore, KY. Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday August 7, 2023 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Brother Mark Carter will officiate.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 PM and Monday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
