Sondra Brown

Henderson, KY - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sondra Elizabeth Brown, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Sondra was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on May 13, 1949, and she lived a vibrant life characterized by her passions and her love for her family.

Sondra will be remembered as a spirited individual who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether riding horses, fishing, or cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren. Her playful spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on through her loving family.

Sondra is survived by her two daughters, Tamra Betz and Bobbi Shelton, along with her cherished four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her sister Jan Culver and her loving ex husband Lester Brown all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

A funeral service honoring Sondra's life will be held on October 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, starting at 11:00 AM. David Lutz will officiate the ceremony, bringing comfort and celebration to this gathering of loved ones.

Following the service, Sondra will be laid to rest at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, Kentucky, a final resting place that echoes her deep ties to the community she loved so dearly.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember the laughter, love, and light that Sondra brought into our lives. Her spirit will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
