Stanley Gene Barrett

Stanley Gene Barrett, 79, of Henderson, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. He was born in Henderson on October 23, 1942 to the late Stanley and Lenora (Gibson) Barrett. Stanley was a U.S. Army veteran, Mason, and member of the Loyal Order of Moose and American Legion Worsham Post #40. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darla Jo Barrett and son, James Barrett. He is survived by his son, John Barrett (Krista); siblings, Jane Lancaster (Hodge) and Wayne Barrett; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 23 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Keith Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military rites conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Burial Detail and Honor Guard. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, December 23 from 11 a.m. until service time.
