Steve Hurd

Steve Richard Hurd, 66, of Henderson, KY passed away at 3:30 AM Saturday May 7, 2011 at the Lucy King Smith Care Center in Henderson. He was born May 4, 1945 in Glascow, KY to the late Carlie B. and Pauline (Richardson) Hurd. He was a retired Real Estate Agent with Legate Real Estate in Henderson after being employed with Kimball International in Jasper, IN for over 20 years as a Sales Coordingator. He was also a member of the Church of Christ in Henderson, and a US Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Carlie B. Hurd, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann Hurd. a son Neel Hurd of Owensboro, KY, Nieces and a nephew. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 10 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY. Bro. Gary Puryear will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice or Henderson County Humand Society.
