Steve L. Skaggs

Steve Skaggs, 63 of Spottsville, passed away at Methodist Hospital August 17, 2018.  He was born September 29, 1954 in Henderson to the late Ervin and Madeline Skaggs. He was a truck driver and a member of the American Legion Worsham Post #40. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son; David Ray Skaggs, three brothers; Lonnie G. Skaggs, Joe Skaggs and Terry L. Skaggs. Steve is survived by his wife of 35 years; Shelia Skaggs, one daughter; Natasha Graham and her husband Glenn, two sisters; Sharon Carver and her husband Henry, Becky Skaggs, one brother; Brian Skaggs, grandson; David Graham and his wife Jenna, great granddaughter; Brylee Graham, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Visitation will be Wednesday, 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and Thursday, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Pastor Dan Book and Don Nally will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brain Skaggs, Baub Alred, Shannon Lawson, Brian Mogg, Mark Hallmark and Robin Lawson.
