Stokes Arthur Patterson

Stokes Arthur Patterson, 80, of Henderson passed away Monday February 16, 2015 at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He had formerly worked for Crop Production Services in Henderson. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Worsham Post 40. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #732 and a musician known as the Green River Drifter. He was preceded in death by his parents John Bailey and Maude (Kirkpatrick) Patterson, 1 daughter Elizabeth Patterson and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife Mary Elizabeth (Carroll) Patterson 2 Children: Tammy Egli of Henderson Salina Shelton of Earlington, KY 6 Grandchildren 16 Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be 11:00 AM Friday February 20, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with military rites conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post 40 Honor Guard. Dr. Hollis Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Brick Church Cemetery in Slaughters. Visitation will be Thursday 3-7PM and Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
