Susan Denise (Hall) Wooten, 64, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. She was born January 4, 1957 in Port Lyautey, Morocco to the late Charles Hall and Dorothy (Melton) Monzon. She had worked at Gibbs, Subway, and retired from Henderson County School System as a teacher’s aide in Special Education. She was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God and loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wooten and brother, Tony Wayne Hall. She is survived by her children, Thomas Wooten II (Heather) of Newburgh, IN, Melinda Pile (Zachary) of Henderson, and Brittany Wooten (Jennifer Hines) of Henderson; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Sowders (Steve) of Henderson and Melissa Litton (Byron) of Tennessee; brother, Michael Monzon of Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 22 at Abundant Life Assembly of God with Pastor Jamie Wilke officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is entrusted with arrangements. Pallbearers will be Thomas Wooten II, Richard Fulkerson II, Jaime Sowders, Steve Sowders, Jr., Steve Sowders, Sr., Richard Fulkerson, Sr., and Charles Barnett.
