Taffeda Jean (Carwile) Parker, 71, of Sebree passed away at 3:50 AM Monday October 22, 2012 at her residence. She was November 14, 1940 in Evansville, IN to the late Edith Lee Carwile. She was a security guard, a member of Sebree First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother, her first husband Dorris Ray Martin, Sr., a grandson Kevin Michael Nelson, and 1 brother Marvin Carwile. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James “Red” Parker, 2 daughters: Carolyn Martin of Slaughters, KY, and Tonja Martin of Providence, KY, 1 son Ray Martin, Jr. of Ocoee, FL, 1 brother: Donald Carwile of Evansville, IN, 1 sister: Henrietta Duncan of Evansville, IN, 4 grandchildren: Otis McCollum III, Justin Roy McCollum, Keendra Yancey, and Kelsea Yancey, 3 great-grandchildren: Elijah McCollum, Kaidin McCollum, Kycen Langley, and nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday October 25, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Dr. Bob Hardison officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday October 24 and 9-11 AM Thursday October 25 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
