Tammie Taylor

Tammie Taylor, 66, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 28, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

Born in Daviess County to the late Ellis and Winona Taylor, Tammie was a free spirit who embraced life with joy and creativity. She had a deep love for the arts and found happiness in painting, writing poetry, dancing, and crafting, expressing her creativity in many ways throughout her life. Her free spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her beloved grandchildren, Ethan and Greyson Lambdin, and her nephew, Cody Lindsey.

Tammie is survived by her daughters, Fancy Lambdin and Leslie Major (Jim); her siblings, Theresa Hinton, Ava Taylor, and Amanda Waddell (Ricky); her cherished grandchildren, Dryden Lambdin and Lilliana Major; her former son-in-law, Wes Lambdin; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate her beautiful life.
