Tara Elaine Morgan

Tara Elaine (Holeman) Morgan, 62, of Henderson, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Redbanks Nursing Home.

She was born in McLeansboro, IL on June 4, 1962 to Alan Holeman and Suellen (Sims) Douglas.

Tara was a horticulturist and had worked for Colonial Gardens and Lowe’s. She had a passion for landscaping, nurturing plants and flowers, and loved being outdoors hiking, boating, and spending time at Lake Barkley. Above all, she cherished quality time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Chelsea McGahee (fiancé, Daniel Pendergraft), Lydia McGahee (Todd Payne), and Shannon McGahee; four grandchildren, Alayna Hall, Summer Pendergraft, Julia Blythe, and Nora Blythe; mother, Suellen Douglas; father and stepmother, Alan and Barbara Holeman ; brother, David Holeman (Kim); niece, Abby Ousley (Cole) and nephew, Cameron Holeman.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 23 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor Tim Shockley officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, January 23 from 2 p.m. until service time.
