Teresa Gayle Vanover

Teresa G Vanover, 57 of Henderson passed away on March 4, 2016 at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, KY. Also known by her friends and family as Teese, Teresa was of the Lutheran faith and when she was well, she attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Henderson. Teresa graduated from Henderson County High School in 1976 and attended Henderson Community College. Teresa worked many years as a secretary at Scott Lumber Company and later at PBS Chemical Company until becoming ill in 1991. For the past 25 years, Teresa has battled with Viral Encephalitis which also led to dementia and in most recent times, she fought Parkinsons Disease. Teresa enjoyed spending countless hours at the softball fields early on helping her husband coach and watching her daughters play. Teese loved spending Saturdays with her mother and daughters shopping. One of her most favored hobbies was caring for and supporting her 5 grandchildren. Teresa was born on March 9, 1958 to James Jim H. Rutledge and the late Gerald Sue Rutledge of Henderson. Teresa is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, David Vanover of Henderson. She is also survived by 2 daughters, Chasity Blakeley (David) of Hartford, KY and Tiffany Rolley (Brian) of Henderson, KY. In addition, Teresa was the proud nana of 5 grandchildren, Kaleb and Jacob Gregory of Hartford, KY and Kaitlyn, Chloe, and Kobie Rolley of Henderson, KY. Teese is also survived by one brother, James Mike Rutledge (Julie) of Altamonte Springs, FL. Teresa was also blessed with nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Services will be at 11:00 am. on Monday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Pastor Mark Moog officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00-5:00 pm. and on Monday from 9:00 am. until service hour. Pallbearers will be Dustin Rutledge, Orrin Givens, Haydon Wolfe, David Blakeley, Brian Rolley, Kaleb Gregory, Kaitlyn Rolley and Donnie Bentley
