Thelma Goldsberry

Thelma (Hazelwood) Goldsberry of Henderson, Kentucky passed away November 9 at Redbanks Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family, under the compassionate care of St. Anthony's Hospice and Redbanks Nursing Staff.

Thelma was born January 11, 1933 in Hebbardsville, Kentucky. She as a member of Zion Baptist Church. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and she found joy in life's simple pleasures. Thelma graduated from Hebbardsville High School in 1951.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Irene Hazelwood; her husband of 52 years Ronald Goldsberry, Sr.; all three of her children Evelyn Kay, Ronald Jr. and Daniel Mark; and siblings, Archie (Jeanette), Arnold (Martha), Evelyn Flynn Johnson (John and VJ) and sister in law Suzie Hazelwood.

Survived by to brothers, Hugh (Patricia) of Henderson and Larry of Henderson; six grandchildren; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 Thursday November 13, 2025 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Pastor. Mike Spivey officiating and Jonathon Goldsberry assisting.

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery next to her husband and children.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Goldsberry, Leroy Goldsberry, Jason Goldsberry, Daniel Goldsberry, Jonathon Goldsberry and Matthew Conville.
