Thelma Lee Springfield

Thelma Lee Springfield, 73 of Sebree, KY passed away on July 29, 2016 at Red Banks Colonial Terrace in Sebree. She was born on July 17, 1943 in Grape Ridge, KY to the late Clate Smith Sr and Effie Wilson Smith. She attended First Baptist Church in Sebree. She was very loving and good hearted and enjoyed time with her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh David Springfield, and brothers, James Elmer Smith, Bobby Gene Smith and Clate Smith Sr. Survivors include: Sisters: Mary Joe Hayes of Sebree, KY Wilma Smith of Sebree, KY Esther Springfield of Sebree, KY Brothers: Morris Smith of Sebree, KY Carl Smith of Sebree, KY Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and several cousins. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree. Dr. Bob Hardison will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 5-8 pm and on Monday from 9 AM until service time.
