Theresa Darlene Blake

Theresa D. Blake, 66 of Henderson, KY passed away on June 6, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center. Theresa was born May 11, 1954 to John and Mary Evelyn Higgs of Morganfield, KY.  She graduated from Union County High School and Lockyear College of Business.Theresa was an administrative assistant for Unison Transformer Services, Henderson; administrative assistant at National City Bank Holding Company, Evansville; and spent 20 years as logistics coordinator for Eastern Alloys of Henderson.  Theresa retired from Eastern Alloy in 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Evelyn Higgs; sisters, Ramona Higgs and Wanda Mills; brothers, John H., Raymond; Damian Higgs and Jerry W. Higgs. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Jim Blake of Henderson; son, Christopher (Haylee) Blake of Uniontown and daughter, Danielle Mankowski of El Mirage, AZ.  Five grandchildren Gage Blake, Ryland Blake Andrews, Victor Mankowski, Isabell and Ryker Gilliam.  Sister, Joyce (J) Clark Santa Claus, IN; brothers, Carl Norman Higgs of Morganfield; sister in law Joy Higgs of Morganfield and several nieces and nephew. A private memorial service will be held at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
