Theresa Evelyn Montgomery

Theresa Evelyn (Pike) Montgomery, 77, of Sebree passed away Wednesday November 23, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

She was born in Poseyville, Indiana on April 4, 1945 to the late Arnold Richard and Cora Gertrude (Mann) Pike.

Theresa loved working as head custodian at Sebree School where she was lovingly known as Ms. Theresa. She was a member of Sebree General Baptist Church and loved quilting and working puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Arnold Richard Pike and Cora Gertrude (Mann) Girten Pike Ivie, she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Montgomery, one daughter Mary Angela Bush, one brother Donald Pike,and 3 son-in-laws, Willie Harris, Dereck Calbreath and Anthony Kirk Harris.

Survivors include six children Beatrice Northcott (Jimmy) of Ponco City, Oklahoma, Wilma Brack (Stanley) of Earlington, Camellia Harris of Sebree, Tammy Knighton (Jeff) of Madisonville, Jerry Lee Courtney (Brenda) of Madisonville, Vonda Gail Calbreath of Madisonville; two step-children Billy Montgomery of Indianapolis, Indiana, Angela Dawn Montgomery of Utah; one brother James Lee Girten of Chaparell, New Mexico; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one on the way, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday November 28, 2022 at Sebree General Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Hardison officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at Sebree General Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Harris, Derric Richards, Michael Courtney, Austin Fusan, Joseph Baker, Joseph Henry Derick Overfield and Chase Overfield.
