Thomas Edward Dolin

Early morning on Thursday, July 1 the bells of Heaven rang louder than normal as Thomas Dolin was called home to be with the Lord.  Thomas Edward Dolin, loving husband, father, friend to all he met, and hard worker, age 72, of Henderson, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021.   He was born September 29, 1948 in Henderson to the late Eldridge Dolin, Sr. and the late Katherine (Webb) Dolin.  Tom was retired after 38 years with Rio Tento Alcan and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved camping, traveling with Judy, motorcycle riding, and all his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Dolin and brother, Eldridge Dolin, Jr (Dooney).    Tom is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Johnston Dolin; daughter, Heather Dolin; son, David Dolin (Melissa); sister, Joann Waddell (Charles) of Henderson and Mary Lou Williams (Jerry) of Greenville, KY; brother, Bobby Dolin of Henderson; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 7 at 11 a.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with The Rev. Mike Spivey of Zion Baptist officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military rites conducted by American Legion Worsham Post 40 Honor Guard.  Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 and 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, both at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Dan Dant, Butch Smithhart, Phil Clement, Estil Anderson, Ryne Murch, Josh Septer, Pete Summers, and Bobby Bradford.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in memory of Thomas Dolin to Operation Comfort Warriors - American Legion Worsham Post 40 Honor Guard in Henderson, Henderson County Humane Society, or New Hope Rescue Center.
