Thomas M. McDonald, 80, of Henderson, KY passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Hospice Care Center. He was born in Henderson KY to Captain Claude and Naomi B. McDonald. He retired as a machine operator at Big Rivers Electric. He loved UK basketball, playing golf, fishing, but most of all he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and two of his brothers, Claudie and Dickie Do. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Wanda P. McDonald; daughter Tracey (Stan); three grandchildren, Kristin, Jesse (Katey), and Zachary Thomas (Riley), and his brother who has been more like a son, Randy (Sheila), nieces and nephews. Also, his first great grandchild Preston Lee Williams who was born in December 2021. Pallbearers will be Randy McDonald, Stan Williams, Zachary Williams, Kristin Williams, Jesse Williams, and Joey McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Farris and Dan McDonald. Visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel on Thursday, July 7 from 10-2. Services will follow at 2:00pm with burial at Baskett Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Airline Baptist Church or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
