Thomas Bradley "Brad" Oglesby

Thomas Bradley "Brad” Oglesby, 64 of Henderson passed away at his home Monday, February 17, 2025.

He was born March 21, 1960, in Henderson, KY to the late Tommie and Freda Oglesby.

Brad retired from the maintenance department at Henderson Co. School System. A hardworking professional, Brad earned his associate’s degree in heating and air and was a licensed master plumber.

Brad’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He found strength, guidance, and comfort in reading his Bible daily. He lived by its teachings and shared his wisdom with those around him. He attended Poole Church of Christ.

He was a true Kentucky Wildcats fan, rarely missing a game and always cheering them on with passion. He kept up with current events, loved watching the news, and enjoyed starting his mornings with a hot cup of coffee-just a little cream, no more, no less.

Above all, Brad cherished his family. His favorite thing was being a Dad. Brad’s love for his three daughters knew no bounds and they were his world.. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle, always putting his loved ones first. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lauren Oglesby; twin granddaughters, Lily and Carmen and his grandparents, Ivan and Edith Chamberlain.

He is survived by his three daughters, Jasemine Eckels (Dylan), Candace Oglesby and Rebecca Oglesby; sister, Penny Gibson (Steve); six grandchildren, Brady, Tinsley, Lyndin, Nora, Avery and Beau; two nieces, Haley Abell (Sam) and Stephany Wright (Justin).

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, KY with Bro. Chip Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 11:00 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
