Thomas Earl Powell, 49 , of Reed passed away Thursday July 28, 2011. He was born June 10, 1962 in Henderson, KY to Ronald and June (Stone) Beumer. He was employed at Redbanks Nursing Home for over 12 years as an assistant Supervisor of maintenance. He was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was employed as head of maintenance and head of Security at the Evansville Executive Inn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents James Vernon and Rosie Bea Stone, his mother June Beumer and his brother Steve Stone. He is survived by his father Ronald Beumer, his wife Angela “Chrissy” Powell, son J.T. Powell, and daughter Miya Powell all of Reed, KY, his sister Ann Beumer of Evansville, IN, brothers David (Mary) Stone of Reed, KY, Ira (Maria) Beumer of Evansville IN, Ronald (Brenda) Beumer, Jr. of Evansville, IN, James L. (Lisa) Wilson of Baskett, KY and Terry (Cindy) Stone of Zion, KY. Services will be 7:00 PM Sunday July 31 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson . Visitation will be 11 AM-7 PM Sunday July 31 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made at Independence Bank, Thomas Powell Memorial Fund.
