Thomas Henry Sandefur

Thomas H. Sandefur, 77 of Henderson passed away April 9, at his residence under the care of St. Antony's Hospice. He was born June 5, 1937 in Henderson to W. O. and Margaret Ellen Sandefur. Tom was a member of Robards Christian Church, retired from Whirlpool and served on the Robards Volunteer Fire Dept. for several years. He was the happiest when his wife, daughter, son, son-in-law, granddaughters and great grandchildren were with him. He loved all his family near and far so very much. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and W. O. Sandefur, sister Joyce Brown and brother Ronald Sandefur. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Joyce Sandefur 2 children: Pamela Gilmore and her husband Bobby of Waverly Thomas J. Sandefur of Henderson sister-in-law: Martha Sandefur of Robards 2 grandchildren: Chelsea Sandefur Lindsay Boone 3 great grandchildren: Hunter Allen Joseph Allen Addyson Brashear Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. David Himmelheber will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday and 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Sellers, Jesse Hurt, Arnold Brown, Butch Royster, Marion Lee Eakins and Jr. Miller. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
