Thomas M Toombs

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas M. Toombs, who departed this life on July 27, 2025, at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Kentucky. Born on April 4, 1979, Thomas leaves behind a legacy filled with love, strength, and a passionate spirit for life.

Thomas was a devoted father to his five children: Careese, Ainslee, Paislee, Elijah, and Ryder. His love for them was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was known to enjoy watching college basketball, a passion that became one of the many joys he shared with his family.

He is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth M. Toombs, Sr. and Nancy (Goodson) Toombs. Thomas also leaves behind his sisters, Stacy Willingham (Josh) and Kimberly Toombs, along with his niece, Marie Bussell (Dequavious), and great-nephew, D.T. Bussell. Their support and companionship were deeply valued by him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth M. Toombs, Jr., whose memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation for Thomas M. Toombs will be held on August 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both at Tomblinson Funeral Homes located at 325 1st St, Henderson, KY 42420. This time will be an opportunity for family and friends to gather and reminisce about the cherished memories and the impactful life Thomas lived.
