Thomas Wooten

Thomas Wooten, 67, of Henderson Ky, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 4, 2020 surrounded by his family at home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice. Mr. Wooten was born July 17, 1952 in Henderson to the late Minor and Annette Wooten. He was retired from Gibbs Diecasting after 42 years as a master maintenance electrician. He was a loving family man that enjoyed working on Harley’s, sitting on the front porch watching people going by.  He enjoyed being around people and never met a stranger.  He loved playing and spending time with his grandkids and loved his two dogs, Sophie Bubbles and Bella. Thomas was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Susan Wooten; three children, Thomas Wooten, II (Heather ) of Newburgh, IN, Melinda Pile ( Zachary) of Henderson, Brittany Wooten (Jennifer Hines) of Henderson; three brothers, Donnie Wooten (Joni) of IN, Dale Wooten of TN, Davey Wooten of TN; two sisters, Diane McCormick of Henderson, Denise Schwab (Jimmy) of GA; 11 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020, 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel. Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to CherriCare of Owensboro and/or St. Anthony's Hospice of Henderson.
