Tina Rigdon

Tina Marie Rigdon, 64, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at her home. Tina was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on October 15, 1961.

She was a beloved hairdresser for more than 30 years. An extreme extrovert, she befriended everyone she met and helped anyone in need. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Ishmael "Buddy" Gibson Jr.; and her brother, Thomas Larry Gibson.

Tina is survived by her mother, Wanda Lee Gibson; her brother, James Ishmael Gibson III (Evelyn); her sister, Tammy Lee Thompson (Ricky); her sons, Chase Matthew Howard and Christopher Matthew Gaines; her daughter, Christina Marie Gaines; her three grandchildren, Adaleigh Jace Billings, Caiden Lee Carter, and Cooper Matthew Gaines; her nieces, Amanda Lee Belt (Michael), Crystal Dawn Perkins (Kevin), Emily Elizabeth Gibson, and Kathleen Grace Gibson; her three great-nieces; and her four great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chase Howard, Christopher Gaines, Nate Lacer, Braydin Brandsasse, Leland Majors, and Caynin Majors.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and on Friday from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
