Truman K Nelson

Truman K. Nelson, 76, of Henderson passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was born in Henderson County on October 19, 1946 to the late Lloyd and Edith (Hallmark) Nelson.

Truman worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Local 181 Operating Engineers. He was a member of Beals Pentecostal Church and enjoyed working out in his yard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters Mary Lloyd Brown, Nancy Pendley, Helen Waddell, Carolyn Cook, Edith Wright; two brothers Charlie Nelson and William Nelson.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years Ginger Nelson; four children Scott Nelson of Evansville, Jennifer Nelson of West Salem, IL, Tom Pryor (Kim) of Henderson, Marla Mundy (Bart) of Ocala, FL; two sisters Donna Nelson of Henderson, Judy Robertson of Uniontown; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Rev. Barry Skaggs officiating.

Burial will be private.
