Verna Ruth Watkins

Verna Watkins, 80, of Henderson passed away Tuesday March 19, 2013 at Henderson Nursing and Rehab. She was a homemaker and a member of Hyland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Shirley Douglas and her daughter Deborah Powell. She is survived by 4 children: Steve Watkins of Henderson James Watkins of Harrisburg, IL Shirley Hagan of Henderson Lisa Smitson of Dixon 11 Grandchildren Several Great-grandchildren Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Friday March 22, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
