Vernon E. Green

Vernon Green of Geneva, died at 10:48AM, August 15, 2017 at Redbanks Nursing Facility. He was a long time member of Geneva Baptist Church.  Vernon was a Mason and Shriner, loved golfing with his nephew and hunting for Native American artifacts.  He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Hazel Green, a sister Doris Grossman and nephew Gary Grossman.Survivors are his wife of 69 years, Emma Jean Green, a daughter Sondra and her husband Wayne Mitchell of Henderson, KY, son Barry and his wife Sherry Green of Geneva, KY, and  sister, Janet Gregory of Nashville, TN.  Granddaughters; Laura Gabe, Brandi Mitchell and Dusty Lloyd; Grandsons; Tracy Green and Chris Green; nine Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren.Services will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2:00PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Visitation will be from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers; Alan Grossman, Tracy Green, Chris Green, Mitchell Gabe, Matthew Gabe and Michael Lloyd.
