Vickie Lynn Reutter

Vickie Lynn Reutter, 62, loving wife, mother, Mamaw, sister, and friend, of Henderson, KY, suddenly left this world to join our Lord and Savior on Friday, June 4, 2021.     Vickie was a life-long resident, born in Henderson on February 9, 1959 to Gilbert and Alice (Rideout) Jennings.   She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a proud long-time member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness in Owensboro, KY. She worked on the OB unit at Methodist Hospital for many years. Vickie, or as she is fondly known, Ms. Vickie, taught at First Kids preschool and Trinity Pentecostal Sunday school for several years. Vickie enjoyed teaching and being surrounded by children of all ages. She found purpose in helping young people discover a passion for Christ.   The simplest pleasures in life brought much joy to Vickie. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family, curling up with a good book, and, above all else, making memories with her family. She was a very proud Mamaw to her three grandsons and would light up a room just talking about them. For those of us lucky enough to have known Vickie, we will always remember her kind soul, amazing compassion, contagious laughter, and immense grace in which she lived her life.    Vickie was preceded in death by her parents.     She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Tony Reutter of Henderson; her devoted children, daughter, Jessica Muensterman of Henderson and son Scott Reutter of Henderson; three of the best grandsons anyone could have ever asked for, Dylan, Ethan and Lucas Muensterman of Henderson; sister, Anita Ely (Lynn) of Vancleave, MS; brother Tim Jennings (Kim) of Henderson; nieces and nephews.   Funeral service will be on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Reverends Donny King and Thornton Stanley officiating.   Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson.   Relatives and friends are invited to Vickie’s visitation on Thursday, June 10 from 4-8PM and on Friday, June 11 from 9-11AM at the funeral home.
