Vicky Larue Boles

Vicky Larue Nance Boles born October 3, 1941 peacefully passed at 10:38 AM on May 11, 2015 at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late William Benjamin Nance and late Dora Mae Harmon Nance. Vicky was a member of Onton United Methodist Church. She graduated from Slaughters High School in 1959. Vicky loved music, crafting and worked a few jobs...her favorite being at Cracker Barrel gift shop and floral arranging where her customers and coworkers became her friends. But no job more was important to her than being wife, mother and grandmother and was so loved. She met her husband Donald Ray Boles on her first day of their first grade year. She and Don married June 1 ,1959. They started their family March of 1960 having four beautiful daughters and one long awaited son. First born being Stephanie Joyce Boles of Madisonville. Suzanne Boles Skinner, her husband Frank of Providence and their children Callie Skinner, Caroline Skinner Morris her husband Charles, JT Skinner, Haylee Boles Smith, her husband Cody and great grandchildren Brooke,Chad,Devin,Kindra,Tori and Amelia. Stacey Boles Ethington, her children Tate McGregor and his wife Miranda, Carmen McGregor. Great grandchildren Abel Slaton and Silas McGregor all of Madisonville. Donna Boles Vandygriff her husband Rodney and their children Jordan, Levi and Grace all of Louisville. And lastly Benjamin Boles , his wife Sandi and their children Katie Brooks and Alex Brooks of Madisonville. She is also survived by an Aunt; Gwendolyn Harmon Cates of Onton, KY A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Tomblinson Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Bro. Marty Robertson and Bro. Thornton Stanley will officiate. There will be a sunset graveside service at 7:15 PM at Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthonys Hospice.
