Violet Carman

Violet Edna Carman, 77 of Henderson passed away Tuesday October 23, 2012 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born December 1, 1934 in Sikeston, MO to Seth and Maudie (Embry) Vangilder. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Carman, two brothers and two grandchildren. She is survived by four children: Johnny Dale Jones of Crawfordsville, IN Sonda Lee of Henderson Tammy Langston of Henderson David Carman of Henderson Best friend and companion her dog Mitzy One sister: Wanda Freeland of Bowling Green 7 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday October 26, 2012 at Dayspring Church. Pastor Don Johnston will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and 10:00 AM until service time Friday at Dayspring Church. Pallbearers will be Keith Freeland, David Carman, Johnny Jones, Logan Martin, Tommy Peckenpaugh and Vance Nunneley.
