Virginia Louise Chandler

Virginia Louise Chandler, 89, of Henderson, KY, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Virginia was born July 26, 1934, in Henderson to the late Jesse and Loraine Owens. She loved to crochet, cross stitch, and do puzzles. She was of the Pentecost faith.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husbands, Oodis Bonnell and Roscoe Chandler; brothers, Melvin Owens, Buck Owens, Bethal Owens; sisters, Lucille Spainhoward, and Helen Ritchie.

Virginia is survived by her children, Barbara Fenwick (Donald) of Slaughters, KY, Charles Bonnell of Henderson, KY, Betty Banks of Henderson, KY, David Chandler (Gail) of Henderson, KY, Roger Chandler; brothers, Clifton Owens of Cam Bernon Owens of Evansville, IN; 20 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 30 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Pastor Danny Lutz officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024, 3:00-7:00 PM, and Tuesday 9:00 AM until funeral hour at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Chandler, Brian Banks, Donald Chandler, Michael Fenwick, Christopher Chandler, and Lee Sparks. Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Banks.
