Virginia E Walker

Virginia Walker, 90 years old,of White Plains, Ky. passed away on Feb. 17, 2013 at NHC Healthcare, Madisonville. She was born on June 6, 1922 in Christian County, Ky. To the late Virgil Reynolds and Lessie Harvill Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents,Virgil and Lessie Reynolds, her husband, Jones Emil Walker and four brothers, Goebel, J.D, Keither and Charles Moody Reynolds. Three sisters, Mary Larkins, Juanita Sapp and Jean Brown. She is survived by her children, Darrell and his wife Carolyn Walker, of Fairfax, Va ,Betty Jane and her husband Daryl Vandiver of Madisonville, Charlotte Ann Truesdale of Winston Salem, N.C. Marsha Faye Snowden of White Plains. Five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Greater Cumberland Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. Her loving spirit touched not only her family but all who knew her. She lived her life as an example of God’s unconditional love. Funeral service will be held at Reid-Walters Funeral Home, Wed. Feburary 20th at 1:00 PM, with Rev Kenneth Johnston and Rev Len Young officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM on Wed.Feb. 20th until service time.
