Viva Lee Parker

Viva Lee (Thomasson) Parker passed away at 4:47 P.M. on Monday July 27, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was a member of Bethel Temple Community Church and Eastern Star. She was born on December 29, 1916 in Onton, KY to JP and Nora Thomasson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Marvin Parker, her parents, and a sister Naomi Perrin. Her survivors include two son Glenn Parker of Evansville, IN, Blaine Parker and wife Nan of Palm Harbour, Fl, and daughter Nacie Mosby and husband Bruce of Evansville, IN. Grandchildren Christopher Parker of Lapel, IN; Mark Willcutt of Bedford, IN; Kimberly Parker of Indianapolis, IN; Bryan Parker of Tampa Fl; Bethanne Fisher and husband Martin of Nashville, TN; and Brad Adams and wife Maria of Tampa, FL. Great-grandchildren Christy Westerfield, Bryce and Audrey Adams and one great-great-grand daughter Miley Westerfield. She is also survived by sister Marjorie Little of Evansville, IN; three brothers Emerson and jeanette Thomasson, Billy and Sue Thomasson all of Onton, Ky; and JP Thomasson of Madisonville, KY. Brother –in-law Henry Parker and wife Georgia of Evansville, IN. Sisters-in-law Wilma Parker and Alfreda Parker of Sebree, and one cousin Gwen Cates of Onton. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday July 30, 2009 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel in Sebree, KY. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday July 29, 2009 from 4-8 PM and Thursday July 30. 2009 from 9AM-until service time at the funeral home.
