Walter Ray Corbitt Walter Ray Corbitt, “Sutt” 84 passed away at 4:40 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at his home in Earlington. He was born January 21, 1928 in Hopkins Co to Mack Ray Corbitt and Sarah Whitehead Corbitt. He was a coal miner for South Hopkins Coal. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Richard Allen Corbitt. Survivors include his wife Rita Corbitt, one daughter, Geraldine Starks of Madisonville. Two Sons, Walter Alan Corbitt, Madisonville and Mack Ray “Bo” Corbitt, Mortons Gap Three Stepdaughters, Debra Jean Dunn, Dawson Springs, Donna Gayle Brasher, Madisonville, Rita Kay Offutt, Madisonville. Four Stepsons, Steven Earl Emery, Madisonville, Timothy Wayne Emery, Fearsville, Ky. Barry Dewayne Offutt, Madisonville, Phillip Alan “P.A.” Offutt, Earlington. Twenty four grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephew’s. Services will held Saturday May 5, at 11:00 AM, at Reid-Walters Funeral Home. Ricky Brasher will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Earlington. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Friday May 4, and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
