Wanda Gail Crabtree

Wanda Gail Crabtree, 69, passed away on December 12, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. She was born in Henderson, Kentucky on October 4, 1947 to Herman Ishmal and Juanita Elizabeth (Browder) Crabtree. She was retired as a community service block grant coordinator and was a member of First Christian Church in Henderson. Wanda was very creative and could do anything she set her mind to, was an expert seamstress, and had a green thumb, she could grow anything. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother in law (her rock) Bill Locke. She is survived by 1 son: Jeremy Crenshaw Hadley and spouse Eric; 1 daughter: Kimberly Dawn Denton; siblings: Del Crabtree and spouse Anita of Switzer, KY, Joyce Locke and her late husband Bill Locke of Henderson, Lois Ann Regan and spouse Jim of Lexington, KY, Clydia Craig of Tampa, FL, Bobby Crabtree and spouse Jetta of Lexington, KY, and Pam Leffler of Lexington, KY; closest friend and niece: Melinda Gould and spouse Steve of California; 4 grandchildren: Makayla Dawn Denton, Chad William Denton, Edith Rose Hadley, and Martha Elizabeth Hadley; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at a later date.
