Wanda Louise Freeland

Wanda Louise Freeland, 85, formerly of Henderson, KY passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. She was born in Prairie, AR on December 10, 1926 to the late Seth Richard and Maudie (Embry) Vangilder. She was a retired press operator for Gamco. She was also a member of Dayspring Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Seth and Maudie Vangilder. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Luster “Les” Freeland. 5 Children: Sue Rice of Henderson, KY Brenda Peckenpaugh of Henderson, KY Steve Freeland of Houston, TX Kathy Cook of Bowling Green, KY Keith Freeland of Bowling Green, KY 12 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren 5 great-great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 10, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Don Johnston will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
