Wanda Faye Hawkins

Wanda Faye (Scott) Hawkins, 77 of Henderson passed away September 2, 2019 at Redbanks Nursing Home.She was born April 16, 1942 in Webster Co. to the late Shelly and Sarah Scott.   Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Ray Hawkins; sister, Diana Scott; brother, Joe Scott; granddaughter, Ashley Rideout. Wanda is survived by two daughters, Nancy Pruitt and Dawn Rideout both of Henderson; five siblings, James Scott of Denton, TX, Mary Helen Hester of Madisonville, Sandra Gayle Allen of Onton, Brenda Fowler of Henderson, John Scott of Evansville; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 5, 2019, 1:00 PM at Lawndale Baptist Church in Henderson, KY with Bro. Orbley Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Zachary Rideout, Scott Fowler, Leon Hicks, Gary Shoulders, Buddy Wint and Donnie Bentley. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or The Gideons International.
