Wanda Elaine Johnson

Wanda Elaine Johnson, 88, of Henderson, KY passed away at 10:42 PM Friday April 25, 2014 at her residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Henderson County, KY on January 4, 1926 to the late Clifton Overby and Della (Duncan) Overby Sights. Wanda was a member of Lighthouse Outreach Church. She had worked at J. J. Newberry’s and several Daycares. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Lee Johnson and step father; Owen Sights. She is survived by 6 children; Judy Overfield and husband Danny Carol Ransom Dianne Gish and husband Tony Pam Smith and husband Larry Jimmy Johnson and wife Karen Jerry Johnson and wife Mia All of Henderson, KY 15 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchildren Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday April 29th at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Albert Winters will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Grandsons will be pallbearers; Jerry Johnson, Logan Johnson, Cory Johnson, Josh Gish, Daniel Smith and Seth Phelps. Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Outreach Church.
