Wanda Faye Knight

Wanda “Faye” Gipson Knight of Sebree, KY passed away at 4:10 P.M. October 21, 2009 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN surrounded by her loving family. Wanda Faye was preceded in death by her parents L.D. and Retta Mae Gipson, her husband Robert S. “Bob” Knight and her sister Sharon Jean Rednour. She attended Sebree United Methodist Church, was a Kentucky Colonel, Webster County Homemaker and played cards with her dear friends. Wanda “Faye” was a very proud mother of five children; Shannon Nelson of Manitou, Brett Knight of Slaughters, Greg Knight of Sebree, Kristi Knight of Evansville, and Blake Knight of Slaughters, KY. Wanda “Faye” Knight also has 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a multitude of family members and friends. Mom will be greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday October 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Bill Gains and Bro. Rob Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kem Knight, Dirk Knight, Shane Knight, Chris Knight, Jacob Knight, and John Knight. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
