Wanda Sue Zachary

Mrs. Wanda Sue Zachary, 74, of Madisonville, KY went to be with our gracious Heavenly Father on July 30, 2018. She was born on January 27, 1944 to the late Oliver and Agnes Pendley of Nortonville, KY and attended South Hopkins High School. Mrs. Zachary was united in Holy Matrimony to Earl Ray Zachary on August 25, 1966.  Mr. Zachary preceded her in death on July 23, 2006. One sister precedes her in death, Mrs. Edith Miller, wife of Tommy Miller of Nortonville, KY. She is survived by one sister, Carma Harrah (Lee Littlepage) of Madisonville, KY, three daughters and their husbands: Kimberly and Anthony Holmes of Mortons Gap, KY, Staci and Scott Collinsworth of Madisonville, KY and Melody and Doug Irvan of Calvert City, KY; eight grandchildren and their spouses Joey and Tara Holmes of Greenville, KY, Brian and Tabitha Short of Crofton, KY, Christopher and Ashley Holmes of Hartford, KY, Kasci and David Brantley of Spring, TX, Zachary Collinsworth of Lexington, KY, Brandon Collinsworth (Lauren Clemons) of Madisonville, KY, Bianca Cox (dec.) Justin Cox of South Dakota, Dakota Cox (Juliane Monroe) of Shepherdsville, KY and nine great-grandchildren: Torie Reynolds of Crofton, KY, Cortland and Cidni Holmes of Greenville, KY, Luke Willoughby of Hartford, KY, Evan and Azlyn Brantley of Spring, TX, Kalli Cox, Noah Winslow and Emilie Monroe of Shepherdsville, KY. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday August 3, 2018 at Slaughters Baptist Church with Bro. Brad Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 PM at the church and Friday 11:00 AM until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Zachary Collinsworth, Brandon Collinsworth, David Brantley, Joey Holmes, Christopher Holmes and Dakota Cox.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cortland Holmes, Evan Brantley, Luke Willoughby, Brian Short, Noah Winslow and Justin Cox. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Gideon’s International.
