Wandene Wilcox Wandene Wilcox 88, died at 1:30 PM, Monday October 1, 2012 at her residence in Earlington, Ky. She was born October 30, 1923 to George Wynn McCormick and Ruby Pearl Marks McCormick. She was a active member of the Earlington First Baptist Church and retired from Ky. Utilities in Earlington in 1982, to take care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Father, George McCormick in 1976 and mother Ruby Pearl McCormick in 1990. One brother George “Buddy” McCormick Jr in 1982 and one sister Nancy Lou Adams in 1986. She is survived by her husband of 66 ½ years Freddie Wilcox. One son Thomas W. “Tommy”, his wife Cathy of Murray, Ky. and their son, Thomas W. Wilcox Jr. and his wife Melissa of Lynn Grove, Ky. One daughter Jerri Lou Sanders and her daughters Dana and her husband Thom of Fontana, Ks. Laurie Jones and her husband Josh of Earlington. Nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday Oct. 4 at 11:00 AM at Reid Walters Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Williams officiating . Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Earlington. Visitation will be Wednesday October 3, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Earlington First Baptist Church Building Fund.
