Waverlie Dale “Pudgy” Austin, 51 of Henderson passed away Saturday September 20, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born July 8, 1963 in Henderson to Waverly Dee Austin and Reva Dale (Hare) Austin. Dale was a Funeral Director. He had formerly worked at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville. He was preceded by his parents. Dale is survived by his finance: Robin Carter of Henderson 3 brothers: Tim Austin of Henderson Kayon Austin of Henderson Waylon Austin of Dixon Nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Bro. Jack Ross will officiate. Friends may call after 12:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
