Whitney Lauren Woodard

Whitney Lauren Woodard, 27, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019. She was born in Henderson on November 29, 1991 to Rodney and Michelle (Hunt) Woodard. She worked as a waitress and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Diana (Crowley) Hunt and grandfather, Earnest Leo Woodard. She is survived by her children, Kennedy Payne and Avery Woodard of Louisville; parents, Rodney and Michelle Woodard of Louisville; siblings, Samantha Jenson of Henderson and Andrew Woodard of Louisville; grandmother, Anna Mae Woodard of Henderson; grandfather, Michael Hunt of Henderson; niece, Everly Jenson and nephew, Leo Jenson; aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Pastor Jeff Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 27 from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Sutton, Ronnie Sutton, Jr., Justice Kirkwood, Cody McIntyre, Alex Jewell and David Crowley. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Tomblinson Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
