Wilburn Allen Darnell Sr.

Wilburn Allen Darnell Sr., 72 of Henderson passed away Friday August 20, 2021, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. He was born in Christian County to the late Lawrence “Red” and Addie Mae (Adams) Darnell. Wilburn was a self-employed Mechanic and enjoyed fishing and tinkered with cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother JD Darnell and his sister-in-law Barbara Darnell. Wilburn is survived by his children Angie Williams (Keith), Allen Darnell, Lawrence Darnell, and Sherri Jones; his siblings Ray Darnell, Orvis Darnell, Darrell Darnell (Jolean), and Marion Humphries (Ron); grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday August 28, 2021, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed, Kentucky
