Willa Dean Ellison

Willa Dean Ellison, 78, of Evansville, IN passed peacefully from this life on the evening of July 26, 2016. Willa Dean is preceded in death by her spouse Larry Ellison, parents and five siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Kimberly Wang of Evansville, IN and Larry Ellison, Jr. (Theresa) of Urbandale, IA; four grandchildren, Lana Feltner (Brian), Beth Wang, Luke Wang, and Evangelina Ellison; two great-grandchildren, Adam Feltner, Heidi Feltner; her sister, Reva Lois Williams of Evansville, IN and brother, Albert Hope, Jr of Sarasota, FL along with many extended family and friends. Willa Dean was born on December 8, 1937 in Browder, KY to the late Ellis Albert and Lena Mae (Lear) Hope. She married her sweetheart, Larry, in 1956. Over the next several years, they welcomed their daughter, Kimberly, and son, Larry Jr., into the family. Willa Deans family will remember her as a caring, supportive, hard-working wife, mother and friend. Willa Dean worked at MidAmerican Energy in Des Moines, IA until she retired in 1995. Upon retiring, she moved back to Evansville, IN where she lived for the remainder of her life. Willa Dean will be dearly missed by her family and her many friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday July 30, 2016 11:00 A.M at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson Kentucky. Visitation will be Saturday July 30, 2016 9 A.M until service time at the Funeral Home.
